Worship Is Not For You

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Oftentimes, we focus on the size of the cathedral, the number in the pews, our favorite song selected, our preferences, and our prejudices. However, seldom do we focus on the King of Glory, the temple of the Holy Spirit, or lives being impacted and changed for Christ. What does Christ like? What  is his agenda? What does he desire to hear? Worship is not for you but for the King of kings.

So true. He alone is worthy.

I always try to say to myself, and to others, ‘what would Jesus say?’ or, ‘Is that what Jesus would do?’ and finally, ‘If Jesus were sitting right here in the flesh, would you say/do that?’ When I get a reply on that one, I then say, ‘Hmm, well that’s funny..because He is here right now seeing and hearing everything, you just can’t see Him.’

His spirit lives inside every believer and teaches and guides us into all truth. We are in Christ. We represent him to the world.

Amen to that. The world is always watching us..waiting for a chance to mock or scorn us; and in other cases, watching because they think they might want what we have, but they’re just not sure yet. That one wrong move could cause a soul to be lost.

Thank God for his mercy. It is so important to listen and follow the lead of Holy Spirit.
