I love the way you do yours; it’s different. You post a small thing and then people think about it, and build off of it. Very smart and creative.

It is what God is saying. He wants to capture our attention.

Amen. Prayer is not prayer unless it is two-way.

Yes, so often we forget to listen.

Oh, I hadn’t seen this one! Love it! I wrote a couple of things on that topic…how we pray and we talk…you know, God do this, God do that, me me me and more me…amen. But we don’t listen. We do all of the talking. How rude of us is that? This was really hard for me because I’m more of a talker and always struggled with really listening. It wasn’t because I wasn’t interested in other people or what they were saying, because I was. I just felt this need to make sure I wasn’t being misunderstood, and I always worried that I wasn’t being heard. If I get quiet with Him, and I say, “Okay Lord, it’s your time…what do you want to tell me about?” And I wait…He speaks.

Yes, he is always speaking but we are not always listening. When we really begin to realize the depth of his love for us, it is easier to listen. Calming the noise of the mind means we have to focus on him.
