In this season, God wants his people to not only be encouraged but to encourage each other. He wants to do away with negativity and pessimism.”My people let no corrupt communication proceed from your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying that it may minister grace to the hearer.” (Ephesians 4:29 KJV) God wants edification for all instead of putting each other down.
God ministers his grace, his unmerited favor to the hearer. You might be the hearer struggling with bills. You might be the hearer struggling with health issues. You might be the hearer struggling with the lust of your flesh. You might be the hearer having a problem with criticizing yourself or others. You might be the hearer struggling with your weaknesses. You might be the hearer struggling in your marriage.
Grace to the hearer, doesn’t look at race, nationality, size, or how light or dark your skin color. It doesn’t look at what ministry you are in, how many times you been recognized or how long you’ve been in a specific office. Grace doesn’t look at how famous you are. His Ministering Grace helps you do what you can’t do. When you are going through something and you feel like no one understands you but God, His grace keeps you from isolating yourself from loved ones. His grace keeps you from losing your mind and doing something you shouldn’t do. His ministering grace keeps you from reverting back to your old self. His ministering grace keeps you from spiritual death. His Ministering Grace is constant. It doesn’t stop. His ministering grace even helps us settle down, when we are so busy. His ministering grace gives us balance in our daily affairs and to bring balance in relationships. It brings peace to someone who is restless and brings wisdom and knowledge to the unlearned or ignorant.
God says, sometimes his people are so quick to critique, criticize, to say “I told you so” or even judge a person who has fallen. But his ministering grace picks that fallen person back up again. God is extending his ministering grace to the hearer who needs to hear someone tell them, “It’s going to be alright.” “Be encouraged.” “God will never leave you.” “Don’t worry” or “I love you.”
God is extending his ministering grace and ministering his grace to his people today. He is administering, furnishing and supplying us with ease when times seem hard, extending his care and aid to us. He is comforting us with kindness, love and mercy. He is answering and attending to your cry. He is strengthening your heart, placing you in a state of grace. Receive his Ministering Grace.
