Daddy God,
Today I press into you in hungry desperation, crying for your help and strength to overcome the trap of old sins, habits, ways of thinking and behaviors that constantly entangle and defeat me. I need your help to leave the past behind me and to press into my high calling through Christ Jesus. I submit myself to you, Lord and humble myself before you.
Open my eyes and give the joy of your vision to me. Wash and cleanse my heart and make my motives pure. Thank you for the cleansing blood of the Lamb of God that makes me clean and an overcomer. Your help makes it possible to continue my journey. You are my strength, rest, and refuge, when I am weak, weary and tired. Thank you for your presence, as you answer and deliver me. You captivate me with your love and mercy, giving me new hope and a fresh start today. I praise your name!
