Pure Glory

Delay is not denial. You have prayed for certain things to happen and they haven’t happenned yet. God says “Trust me, I know what I am doing.”

Some have prayed for certain things to happen for years and have not seen the manifestation. But God says, “It shall come to pass.” God told Noah it was going to rain, but he didn’t tell him when. Noah kept the faith and continued to build the ark until it was complete. Sometimes, when you are waiting for God to do something, you must continue the task for which God has ordained you. When God told Noah it would rain, Noah did not decide to not build the ark. He got busy! When they were talking about him, he didn’t quit. He might have felt like it, but he didn’t stop.

You may be a minstrel with dreams of becoming a recording artist. You may be a leader, who has prayed for your ministry to grow rapidly. You may be a person, who is praying specifically for a particular thing to happen, personally for you in your body or your life. While you are waiting, keep on the task at hand. While you are waiting keep trusting. While you are waiting, stay focused. While you are waiting for the rain to come, ignore what everyone is saying about you, your ministry or your dreams. Keep going through the delivery process.

In the midst of the wait, God is delivering you from the liars, the gossips, the haters, and those who said they were your friends. He is delivering you from you comparing your ministry to another ministry. He’s releasing you from comparison of yourself, as a minstrel with other minstrels. He’s freeing you from comparing your ark with someone else’s boat. The Lord said, “They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like the eagles. They shall run and not get weary. They shall walk and not faint. Wait, I say, on the Lord.” (Isaiah 40:31)  IT SHALL COME TO PASS.
