Pure Glory

The Lord is saying: “Do you have the same hunger for me as you have for physical food?  Do you long to eat and drink the delicacies of my spiritual food and drink, more than you hunger and thirst for physical necessities?  I have longed to give you spiritual food and drink but you have not sought me.  My heart yearns for you to spend more time with me, so I can satisfy your true thirst and hunger.  You get so busy with doing good things that you neglect spending time with me, waiting to hear my voice. Rest and worship, as did the woman who desired my presence more than the approval of men. Her worship of breaking her alabaster box and pouring its costly precious perfume on my head, was fragrant worship that remained with me, when I laid down my life for you. (Matthew 26:6-13)

I am longing for worshipers that desire me more than anything. It is time for you to cry out to me: “Make me more hungry and thirsty for you, Jesus!”  My deepest longing is for you to be my best friend not a servant. Oh, who will pay the price to truly worship me, seeking me with their whole heart?  Come away with me, my beloved one.
