I Can Do All Things Through Christ

You’ve learned how to ABASE, now it’s time to ABOUND!

Abase-to reduce or lower, as in rank, office, reputation, or estimation; humble; degrade. Archaic, to lower; put or bring down: He abased his head.

Abound-to occur or exist in great quantities or numbers: to be rich or well supplied; to be filled; teem.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:11-13 KJV)

God Pleaser Or People Pleaser?

Worried and concerned about how you look to others and if they approve of you?

It is easy to get caught, trying to please people. However, the approval that is important comes from Yahweh God, our Father in Heaven. Pleasing people exhausts one, due to its demands for performance, compromise and control. It snares you into a spider web of deceit, with defeat and insecurity. God pleasing however, gives you your true identity, as you put your focus, actions, confidence and trust in him. You safely rest in the Lord, at peace because he is trustworthy and does not change. When we please God, the rewards are great.

The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high. Many crave and seek the ruler’s favor, but the wise man [waits] for justice from the Lord. (Proverbs 29:25-26 AMPC)

Old Wineskins Past Or The New Mindskin?

We can’t afford to stay in the same old wineskin–mindskin of yesterday, it will not hold or advance the new wine of the Holy Spirit, the present truth of God. My heart bleeds this morning; I can’t live in yesterday.

No one after drinking the old wine wants the new, for he says, ‘”the old is better.” The old is rooted in the old systems of man, comfortability and familiarity. The new is rooted in the Kingdom of God, it’s uncomfortable and unfamiliar.

They pour new wine into new wineskins, so that both are preserved. How can we maintain the same comfortable routine, sing the same familiar songs and minister from the same old systems and keep the new? We find more important our song selections, our pre-selected sermons, and what impresses us, versus the fresh wineskin presence of the Lord and what impresses God. Pursue the presence of God and refuse to live in yesterday.

What Do You Think And Rehearse?

What we think and rehearse in our minds, manifests in our actions. When we meditate and think on the wonderful love of God, his mercy, grace, faithfulness and forgiveness for us, we give more love, mercy, grace and forgiveness to others. However, if we allow pride, offense and trauma, to take hold in our thoughts, we become proud and self-centered, self-righteous, argumentative, bitter and unforgiving. We judge others and act superior.

We need God’s weapons to pull down strongholds of the enemy, residing in our mind, will and emotions (heart). No longer letting past traumas define our present. With our full surrender and reliance on God’s supernatural help and weapons, we destroy these thoughts through Jesus. Thankful for God’s faithfulness and help, we either live bitter or better.

The weapons of the war we’re fighting are not of this world but are powered by God and effective at tearing down the strongholds erected against His truth.  We are demolishing arguments and ideas, every high-and-mighty philosophy that pits itself against the knowledge of the one true God. We are taking prisoners of every thought, every emotion, and subduing them into obedience to the Anointed One (Jesus).  (2 Corinthians 10:4-5 VOICE)

Real Relationship

A Green Olive Tree In God’s House

When we seek God and dwell in him, his living water nourishes us. In his presence, our perspective changes to an eternal viewpoint. We become like a tenacious olive tree that enjoys long life, produces olives, oil for lamplight, eating, and anointing oil. The olive tree is an evergreen. The roots of the olive tree can thrive in hot arid conditions, needing minimal water, and some still produce after 2,000 years. The olive branch, is the symbol for peace. Noah sent out a dove from the ark after the flood and the dove returned with an olive branch in its beak. Like the olive tree we will flourish as we seek God and bask in his presence.

But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in and confidently rely on the loving-kindness and the mercy of God forever and ever.(Psalm 52:8 AMPC)

Accept The Challenge To Love!

Love beyond yourself.

If your love doesn’t carry you beyond yourself, it isn’t love. “And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; Though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved,” (2 Corinthians 12:15). In the natural, one loves expecting love in return. Paul says, “I do not care whether you love me or not, I am willing to destitute myself completely, not merely for your sakes, but that I may draw you to God.”

The real test for the Bride is not in her preaching the gospel, but washing the feet of others, and doing things that do not count in the actual estimate of men, but matters for everything in the eyes of God. God delights in the bride when she spends herself out for God’s interest, in other people, not caring what the cost will entail; and doing it gladly. A lot of what we call love is really affection because it doesn’t go beyond ourselves. Love beyond yourself today, and love your Hater.

Fearfully And Wonderfully Made!

Often we worry about our circumstances, losing our assets and are self-centered. We become so concerned about how life affects us, we lose our focus and the reason we live. God our Creator, placed us in our family, in our city and nation with a destiny. He created us in his image and placed gifts inside of us that we need for our life purpose. His plans for us are bigger than we can imagine. Look up, see your life from God’s perspective and worship him! You are fearfully and wonderfully made,  your destiny calls.

“For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].” (Ephesians 2:10 Amplified)

Decree For Yahweh’s Glory To Cover

We decree and declare that Yahweh covers the earth, our families, marriages, relationships, businesses, churches, and all nations with his GLORY! Be flooded with the Glory of the Lord Today!
