Cry Out To God

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Don’t forget to cry out to God to help you and be specific, in what you need him to do. Pour your heart out to Him, so he can pour His Heart into you. You cannot cry out to God and God not help you.

Joyful Trials And Challenges!

by Hazel Straub

James 1:2-4 (Amplified)
“Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.”

When we face trials and testing, we have a tendency to want to complain about our circumstances. God, however, uses trials to help us mature and become more like him. We like steel become strong while in refining fire, which consumes the things not pleasing to God. If our circumstances are not challenging, we have a tendency to depend upon ourselves. In the fire of testing and hard times, it becomes clear that our way does not work. Difficult circumstances cause us to seek the Lord for help and strength. The hotter the flame, the more our avenues of escape disappear, exposing our character flaws and we cry to God for relief. As we come to a place of total abandonment and dependency on him, we can rejoice in the process of his mercy and love. This process although painful, assists us in dying to our flesh and maturing to show more of Jesus, in our walk of faith.

The Battle Belongs To My God Of Peace

by Hazel Straub

The battle belongs to you, my God of Peace and Lord
In your love I rest not in the might of flashing sword
Safe from the trial of distressful battle, my fears depart
Your embrace heals and consoles my wounded heart

You are my strength, comfort, help, and shield
The battle won by trust in your love, as I yield
I rest in you, enjoying the comfort of your breast
Letting all my fears and anxiety go, while I rest

My confidence is in you for victory is sure
You give me vision and provision is assured
The guarantee in you comes in tranquil trust
No need for me to run, fret or frantically rush

You make me peaceful, comforted, whole and complete
Broken places healed, I’m consoled, full and replete
You are my rest, restoration, refreshment and health
My prosperity comes by faith and trust in your wealth

The battle belongs to you, my God and Lord
In quiet confidence, sheltered and adored
The tumult of fierce warfare cannot move me
‘Cause I nestle on your chest, confident in thee

We Need Each Other

Apostle Gabriel Cross

Don’t believe more in the vision God gave you, than in the people God gave you to execute it. We need each other.

Stronger Than That

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

I’m stronger than that
I’m Better than that
I’m wiser than that
I Don’t have to accept that

I’m Not settling no more
I’m off of that floor
Not second guessing no more
I’m too blessed to look poor

I’m Making each hour count
What I think I bring about
Walking by faith and not doubt
Been down too long but I’m out

Life goes on and on and on and on and on
Now I’m going on Life
I’ve been silent too long
But I’m not on my own

The best has not shown
But it’s time to move on
I’m moving past the past
Living life with a blast

Finally at last
I’m Thinking of me not mass
I’m taking my happy back
Preserved undamaged intact

With no questions asked
I’m living by Truth not fact
Life goes on and on and on and on and on
Now I’m going on Life

Thinking of all those times I lost
Never fulfilling just counting the cost
No more waiting with my fingers crossed
All fear is now tossed

Life goes on and on and on and on and on
Now I’m going on Life

You Are My Treasure

by Hazel Straub

My Dearest Child,

You are my treasured possession and I delight in you, my child. Even though you are a fragile vessel of clay, I have placed my treasure within you. You are precious and valuable in my sight. I cherish you and paid the greatest price for you, with the precious life and blood of my son, Jesus. You are worth more than all the rubies and gold. Precious.

I carry you close in my heart and will not let you go. Receive and bask in my love. You do not have to do anything to receive all that I have for you. My child, I accept, take pleasure and value you, as rare and very precious. Know this is your true identity and requires nothing else or good performance. Rest, cease from your labors and let me lavish my love and comfort on you. You are my precious treasure, my jewel in whom I delight.

Love,
Abba

Isaiah 62:3 (Young’s Literal Translation)
“And thou hast been a crown of beauty in the hand of Jehovah, and a diadem of royalty in the hand of thy God.”

My Refuge From The Storm

by Hazel Straub

Daddy God, you are my Refuge from the storm
I come to you weary and forlorn
You are the place in which I hide
In you alone do I trust and abide.

I will not fear the enemy’s strategies
You reverse with blessings the enemy’s plan for tragedy
There is no place for platitudes
So I rest in your arms with gratitude.

You give me strength and help on the journey
In you refreshment comes when I’m tired and weary
My battles are fought by you through reliance
May my heart become supple and pliable in compliance.

You are my focus, provision and vision
‘Cause you have released me from fear’s prison
I give to you alone my worship and raise my praise
To you alone the Everlasting One all of my days!
