Be led, motivated, and driven by the Spirit of God, not by your emotions, circumstances, or your fleshly appetite. Being led by the Holy Spirit is exemplifying the Father’s heart.
“But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5:18, 22, 23 KJV)
Have you ever become so irritated with a certain person that you were obsessed on their flaws? The ways they acted caused you to react in frustration and their thorns hurt. Then God began to show you, the same things were operating in your life. Your intolerance stemmed from the same immaturity lurking in your own life. This person came to sharpen you, like a knife blade, so you could be honed for the Master’s use. Rather than complaining, rejoice! This person is the tool used to make you more mature.
In the same way that iron sharpens iron, a person sharpens the character of his friend. (Proverbs 27:17 VOICE)
Can you do yourself a few favors today? Resign from trying to do things that only God is supposed to. Free yourself from the responsibility of making sure that everything and everyone is perfect; place the responsibility back on God.
Ask God to help you today, instead of trying to do things on your own. Quit holding yourself to standards that God isn’t even requiring of you (loose yourself). Retire from focusing on the problems and focus on the (God’s) promises. If you do these favors FOR YOU, life will be more favorable TO YOU.
My heart, my way of thinking, my will, and emotions, I surrender and give to you. Soften and tenderize the hard places in my heart and make it soft and pliable.
Ignite and consume my heart, so that I am aflame with love for your son, Jesus and you. Give me eyes that are solely focused on him, captivated and motivated by his love. Transform my heart with explosions of your love, until I am contagious with love, mercy and compassion, for family, friends, neighbors and enemies.
Let the expression of love and mercy, in my life, be a sign and wonder to others. May the image of your son, Jesus, be what is seen in me.

The light of God’s love shined within us when he sent his matchless Son into the world so that we might live through him. This is love: He loved us long before we loved him. It was his love, not ours. He proved it by sending his Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins. Delightfully loved ones, if he loved us with such tremendous love, then “loving one another” should be our way of life! (1 John 4:9-11 TPT)
Yahweh chose you to live in this time and season. He knew this was your time to live and overcome. Your destiny is to worship (to bow down in submission, inside your heart to him) and praise his name. Then you will walk with the Lord Jesus Christ and follow his lead, into good pastures.
Speak to the mountain that opposes you and keeps you from fulfilling what God has for you. Decree it removed and cast it down, with no doubt or unbelief. Then you will live in resurrection power, with no obstruction to your experiencing a joyful life of worship and praise to Yahweh, who is more than enough for all your needs. New doors that you never imagined will open for you, to walk through into new realms and opportunity that he planned for you. Rejoice in the Lord!
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. (Mark 11:23 NKJV)
One of the most powerful prayers to pray is, “Father, Help Me.” … How many hours do we waste, trying to do it on our own …When all we need to say is, “Lord Help Me!”
Quit looking for rescue from your situation. Jesus lives undefeated and Holy Spirit leads you in triumph. Every negative thing that occurs in your life, sets you up for an upgrade. God wants to change how you think. Your circumstances are not the problem but your perception of your situation. Take it to the Lord and get his perspective on the issue. Do not tackle the problem from the same level that it seems. Ask instead, “Where is Jesus in my circumstances?” Forget the “Why me?” victim mentality. Instead ask, “What does this mean for my relationship with you and what do you want me to do?”
Your problems’ primary purpose is to make you change and become more like Jesus. God created you in his image. Unless you think like him, doubt, fear and unbelief become your anthem. Favor, goodness, possibility, with all things turning for your good, is the believer’s portion. He faithfully walks besides you and will never leave or forsake you. In your circumstances, look for God’s presence . Realize he is good. Allow him to captivate your heart and go higher!
So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like him. (Romans 8:28-29 TPT)
Recently, I was reading (Proverbs 6:2)”Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art caught by the words of your mouth.” The word snare means entrapped or barbed. Then the Holy Spirit began to show me some words of entrapment (inner vows) in my heart. One was “here we go again.”
The Lord said, “you’re saying this out of frustration and hurt because of a cycle or reoccurring problem of something undesired.” This is an inner vow or word of entrapment because you aren’t stopping the cycle but welcoming and continuing the cycle. Instead, you should say, “Lord, my life, my times are in your hands and I speak death to every cycle that is not a blessing in my life.” This will be the end of this curse and a new beginning.
Secondly, “Something is wrong with me”. He pointed out how this was an inner vow or word of entrapment. He said, “you are speaking this out of rejection from a person(s). You need to say, “I am wonderfully and fearfully made in the image and likeness of God. When he created me, he did it right. I am preserved, undamaged, intact, lacking nothing.”
Lastly, “I’m just anointed for mess, hurt, and abuse”. He pointed out, “this is not your portion, nor your daily benefits, or the more abundant life, I promised you.” What you should say, “I’m anointed to establish the Kingdom of God and his order. I’m anointed to be healed and bring healing to others. I’m anointed not to be abused but to bring healing to those abused, as well as the abuser.”
Then I began to repent and renounce the words of entrapment. Freedom came in and the snare was broken in these areas. Yahweh has not anointed you for mess, abuse, and hurt, but to be healed and bring healing, to be delivered from, and to conquer it. Death and Life are in the power of your tongue, speak death to the things of the enemy and life to the things of God Today!
Holy Spirit, show me any words of entrapment or inner vows that I have made, that I may repent, renounce, and thus destroy its altar in my life. Lord tear down every false altar in my heart til there’s only one altar in my heart reserved for You.
Speak words of FREEDOM, not words of entrapment…your life hinges on it.
