Quit trying to deal with everyone else’s hearts, allow God to deal with yours. God is exposing (to his love) the hearts of those, who dare to enter his glory.
“I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.” (Ezekiel 36:25-27)
Each one has the gift of 24 hours each day, of their life. What do you spend your time thinking upon? Do you meditate on God and his goodness and his incredible love for you or do you think about yourself, flaws, and the difficulties you have? Does pride or humility rule, in your life?
Your purpose in life is to glorify God. When you meditate and complain about your troubles, you major on the wrong things and become full of pride and remain in the mess. Remember, God and his love goes with you through the fire, so you have no need for stress and distress, because fire merely burns the impurities. You come out of the fire as pure gold! God desires your light to shine brightly, with Jesus. Others come to the light and see Jesus in you. Trials help you have more of God’s character with God dependence not independence.
Rejoice and worship God! He makes you a sign that people pause and wonder at God’s love and mercy! Your tests turn into a testimony of God’s greatness.
Now, this is what Yahweh says: “Listen, Jacob, to the One who created you, Israel, to the one who shaped who you are. Do not fear, for I, your Kinsman-Redeemer, will rescue you. I have called you by name, and you are mine. When you pass through[b] the deep, stormy sea, you can count on me to be there with you. When you pass through raging rivers, You will not drown. When you walk through persecution like fiery flames, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you, for I am your Savior, Yahweh, your mighty God, the Holy One of Israel! I give up Egypt as the price to set you free, Cush and Seba in exchange to bring you back. Since you are cherished and precious[d] in my eyes, and because I love you dearly and want to honor[e] you, I willingly give up nations in exchange for you— a man to save your life. (Isaiah 43:1-4 TPT)
God is always speaking but we are not always listening. He is your Good Shepherd and he teaches you to listen and hear his voice. He calls you by name and loves you.
His voice never condemns you. Holy Spirit convicts you to turn from going the wrong way and turning back to God. Stop, pause and listen to his still small voice. Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you as you read God’s love letter to you, the Bible.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. ( John 10:27 KJV)
Trials and testings, often cause us to complain about our circumstances. God, however, uses troubles to help us mature and become more like him. When iron is in the process of becoming steel, it must be refined and tempered by fire. In the same way, God’s fire consumes the things in our lives that do not please God.
When we are comfortable, without challenges, we tend to depend upon ourselves and walk in pride. Trials and difficulties, however, show us our need to seek God and depend on him because we are unable to rescue ourselves. The heat of the flame, makes our avenues of escape disappear and we cry to God for relief. This reveals our character flaws and need for complete God dependence. Instead of complaining, rejoice and be filled with joy!
!As we come to a place of total abandonment and dependency on God, we rejoice, in the process of his mercy and love. The difficulties although painful, assist us in dying to our flesh and maturing to show more of Jesus’ character, in our walk of faith and God dependency.
My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things. And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. (James 1:2-4 TPT)
