Challenges Matures Us!

by Hazel Straub

We grow, as we face challenges, in our life and trust Abba God to bring us through all of them. The hard things in life, help us mature  in our faith. Our circumstances does not change the incredible love and care that Abba God gives us.  He is always with us, he is our strength and refuge, in the midst of the storm.

Difficulties call for us to place our confidence in God and to rest in him. It is important not to rely on our own understanding or intellect but on the guidance of Holy Spirit. Keep your eyes focused on the Lord and know that his finished work, on the cross, makes us triumph over our circumstances.

The one who loves us gives us an overwhelming victory in all these difficulties.  I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love which Christ Yeshua our Lord shows us.. We can’t be separated by death or life, by angels or rulers, by anything in the present or anything in the future, by forces or powers in the world above or in the world below, or by anything else in creation. (Romans 8:37-39 NOG)

New Treasures In Your Present!

by Hazel Straub

This is the day, to no longer let the past define you. Walk away and close the door to the place where you used to exist. The horizon contains much more than you can imagine.

Keep your focus on Jesus, who desires to show you many new treasures. Live the abundant life, following the Lord, on the adventure he has for you. Get his vision for the things he wants to open up to you. No more hesitation! Go!

Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”  And they left their nets at once and followed him. (Matthew 4:19-20 NLT)

Arise And Shine!

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

The glory of The Lord has risen upon you, so arise and shine for your Light has come. This is Our hour to shine, to radiate his glory, all over the world. The Lion of Light, pierces the darkness with light, encourages us by lifting us up, and encompassing us with songs of deliverance in the night. ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you–rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! [Zechariah 8:23] (The Light or his presence comes to deliver us and bring justice to the land.)

This is our time to shine forth as beacons of light with his glory for, YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD! For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you. [Isaiah 60:19-22; Malachi 4:2; Revelation 21:2, 3] And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. [Isaiah 2:2, 3; Jeremiah 3:17]

(Lift up your eyes round about you and see! Look up! Look up! Look with expectancy, see with clarity, and new understanding). They all gather themselves together, they come to you. Your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried and nursed in the arms. Then you shall see and be radiant, and your heart shall thrill and tremble with joy, [at the glorious deliverance] and BE ENLARGED; because the abundant wealth of the [Dead] Sea shall be turned to you, unto you shall the nations come with their treasures. [Psalm 119:32] A multitude of camels (heaven’s abundance, the riches of his glory is being released to you! Change of commerce, wealth of blessing and great health of blessing) [from the eastern trading tribes] shall cover you, the young camels of Midian and Ephah; all the men from Sheba [who once came to trade] shall come, bringing gold and frankincense and proclaiming the praises of the Lord. [Matthew 2:11]

All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered to you [as the eastern pastoral tribes join the trading tribes], the rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; they shall come up with acceptance on My altar, and My glorious house I will glorify. Who are these who fly like a cloud, and like doves to their windows? Surely the isles and distant coastlands shall wait for and expect Me; and the ships of Tarshish [shall come] first, to bring your sons from afar, their silver and gold with them, for the name of the Lord your God, for the Holy One of Israel, because He has beautified and glorified you. Foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you; for in My wrath I smote you, but in My favor, pleasure, and goodwill I have had mercy, love, and pity for you. And your gates shall be open continually, they shall not be shut day or night, that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations–and their kings led in procession [your voluntary captives]. [Revelation 21:24-27]

For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you in that day [Jerusalem] shall perish; yes, those nations shall be utterly laid waste. The glory of Lebanon shall come to you, the cypress, the plane, and the pine [trees] together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; and I will make the place of My feet glorious. (Hallelujah, his feet, represent and bring in his reign, his rule, his steadfast power, his excellency, his compassion on us, his fire and judgment against our enemies.) The sons of those who afflicted you shall come bending low to you, and all those who despised you shall bow down at your feet, and they shall call you the City of the Lord, the Zion of the Holy One of Israel. [Revelation 3:9]

Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no man passed through you, I will make you [Jerusalem] an eternal glory, a joy from age to age. You shall suck the milk of the [Gentile] nations and shall suck the breast of kings; and you shall recognize and know that I, the Lord, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob. (We are nursing at the breast of kings, meaning, we the spiritual Jerusalem, siphoning wealth from other nations represented by their kings.)

Instead of bronze I will bring gold, and instead of iron I will bring silver; and instead of wood, bronze, and instead of stones, iron. [Instead of the tyranny of the present] I will appoint peace as your officers and righteousness as your taskmasters. Violence shall no more be heard in your land, nor devastation or destruction within your borders, but you shall call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise. (Living in walls of deliverance and walking through doors of praise.)

The sun shall no more be your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you, but the Lord shall be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory and your beauty. [Jeremiah 9:23, 24; Revelation 21:23] Your sun shall no more go down, nor shall your moon withdraw itself, for the Lord shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended.

Your people also shall all be [uncompromisingly and consistently] righteous; they shall possess the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified. The least one shall become a thousand [a clan], and the small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its [appointed] time. (Isaiah 60:1-22)

Commit To And Trust Yahweh!

by Hazel Straub

Commit yourself to Yahweh and delight yourself in him, trusting him with all of your heart, the way you think, your will, and your emotions. This commitment will change your life, in the best ways! Don’t worry about the wicked or be envious of them. As you place your trust in Yahweh, everything will work out for the best.

Give God the right to direct your life,
and as you trust him along the way,
you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly!
He will appear as your righteousness,
as sure as the dawning of a new day.
He will manifest as your justice,
as sure and strong as the noonday sun.
Quiet your heart in his presence
    and wait patiently for Yahweh.
And don’t think for a moment that the wicked, in their prosperity,
    are better off than you.
Stay away from anger and revenge.
Keep envy far from you, for it only leads you into lies.
For one day the wicked will be destroyed,
but those who trust in the Lord
    will inherit the land.
(Psalm 37:5-9 TPT)

Embrace New Changes

by Hazel Straub

The season in which we find ourselves is one of change. No longer business as usual, treading well-worn paths and living in the status quo. Instead we experience new challenges in new unfamiliar settings with new relationships. Life, as we knew it, is gone. We are going over to the other side of the mountain to live, in an unfamiliar setting, where God is in control not us.

God tells us to let the past go and not to hang on to old victories, ways of thinking, grudges, and habits. He is doing something new and it requires letting go of toxic thought patterns, unforgiveness, regrets and living the familiar comfortable way. No longer coping as a survivor, but thriving in abundant life. When you let it all go, there is room for new relationships, new life in unfamiliar places and blessings you could not imagine. It is time for new beginnings, seeing new rivers flowing in the former desert and exploring new paths you would not have considered earlier.

Embrace the new and leave the past in the past!

“Stop dwelling on the past.
Don’t even remember these former things.
I am doing something brand new, something unheard of.
Even now it sprouts and grows and matures.
    Don’t you perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and open up flowing streams in the desert.”

The Word Of God

by Hazel Straub

Fall in love with the Word of God and know the Truth and the Truth will set you free. Jesus, is the Word, who created the world came to earth in the flesh. He is the living Word, who spoke and the world was created. The promises in the Word of God are true. Take Him at His Word. Receive them, believe them and speak the Word over yourself, in faith! The Word has power when applied!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. (John 1:1-5 AKJV)

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.  He came unto his own, and his own received him not.  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:10-14 AKJV)
