Treasure In Jars Of Clay

When we are weak and inadequate, God shines out of our lives. The cracks in our lives allows the light of God’s love  to shine out of us. The treasure we carry inside shows best in brokenness. Also, when we  walk in humility, God gets all the glory. Shine!

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Now we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this surpassingly great power is from God and not from us. (2 Corinthians 4:6-7 BSB)

What Do You See?

The Love Of God–Antidote For Fear

Fear is false evidence appearing real. The antidote for fear is the love of God. He is with you and will not leave you. He goes with you through the challenges and trials of life. When you go through the water he is with you and you will not drown. When you walk through fire, you will not burn for he is with you.

Trust God and not the false evidence that would paralyze you and keep you bound. Fear flees, when you rest in God. Spend time enjoy his love and know you are secure.

Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. See, all your angry enemies lie confused and shattered. Anyone opposing you will die. You will look for them in vain—they will all be gone.  I am holding you by your right hand—I, the Lord your God—and I say to you, Don’t be afraid; I am here to help you. (Isaiah 41:10-13 TLB)

Motivated By Love

Love is – Helping people who can’t help you; Spending time with individuals who may not be mature enough to appreciate it currently; Fighting to love and not fighting to be right; Being there for people not because you can but because you care; Yahweh is testing our hearts and challenging our love walk towards him and each other. However, Love is not discounting everything someone has done for you because of one thing they didn’t do.

Don’t be circumstantial or emotionally motivated be LOVE MOTIVATED TODAY!

Do Not Quit!

How many times have we started out on some venture, full of enthusiasm, only to peter out, when it got difficult or boring? Many can recite a litany of reasons why they quit. We tell ourselves, “I didn’t sign up for this,” and opt out. We fail due to “ME-ISMS”, focusing on self (pride) and not on the one who gave his life for us. Instead, if we say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13), we will do the impossible.

The journey of life, shapes and matures us, as we walk with Jesus. When we do not allow discouragement and discontent to reign, we will get up after falling. Help comes by listening to the still small voice of Holy Spirit, dying to our flesh along with its selfish desires, and living for Jesus. Dead people don’t get offended or worry. Resting in the Lord with an attitude of joy-filled, thankful worship, makes the heart merry and the journey easier.

Then Yeshua said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and let him come after me.” (Matthew 16:24 ABPE)

Faith Filled Walking

Trust and cling tightly to the promises that God spoke to you. This is the time to move and take the first step into the unknown. One step after another, leads into a new adventure and fulfillment of the dreams that Abba placed within you. Your movement in faith-filled walking, will have ripples that affect many.

Guard your dreams and be careful with whom you share them so they will not die.. Listen to the voice of the Good Shepherd and do not follow the voice of a stranger. Our Shepherd promised that you would lack nothing and rest in lush green pastures. Take you first step and go on a new journey of faith. You will see your dreams fulfilled and many lives changed because of your stepping to the sound of the Shepherd’s voice.

Spoken words, lodge in our soul (mind, will and emotions), bringing life or death. When we speak with kindness, it brings healing to ourselves and others.

Forgive those that have spoken against you, including yourself. Loose and let go of all the negative words from your soul and bind the positive words and the love of Jesus to your soul. Let the sweet honey, of the Word of God, fill you.

Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. (Proverbs 16:24 NET)
