Hurting? Walking out of hurt into healing is sometimes the greatest challenge ever. You have to ignore toxic emotions, not being controlled by how you feel but yielding to the Holy Spirit and loving like the Father loves us. Unfeigned. Unconditional. Without dissimulation.
You have to let the person off the hook. Abstain from killing the person(s) with your judgment. Refrain from rehearsing it in your mind, rehashing it in your conversation, and holding the person hostage to the past. Forgive, let it go…Christ forgave you…Selah
Surpasses all of human earthly love Comes into the deep crevices of the heart Knows no boundaries and has no limitations Gives, forgives, pardons, and holds no grudges
Changes hard, calloused and crusty hearts Softens and makes supple, hardened lives Purifies, heals, delivers and performs miracles Makes enemies at peace with each other
Brings new life, light, laughter, love Rejuvenates, renovates, revives, and refreshes Caring, compassionate, without other’s merit Good, not evil, rejoices in truth, without quitting
Trusts God always not the circumstances Looks for the best and doesn’t keep score of others’ sins Doesn’t have a swollen head or strut its stuff Never looks back but keeps going and going . . .
Those who are loved by God, let his love continually pour from you to one another, because God is love. Everyone who loves is fathered by God and experiences an intimate knowledge of him. The one who doesn’t love has yet to know God, for God is love. The light of God’s love shined within us when he sent his matchless Son into the world so that we might live through him. This is love: He loved us long before we loved him. It was his love, not ours. He proved it by sending his Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins. (1 John 4:7-10 TPT)
Recently, I was reading (Proverbs 6:2)”Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art caught by the words of your mouth.” The word snare means entrapped or barbed. Then the Holy Spirit began to show me some words of entrapment (inner vows) in my heart. One was “here we go again.”
The Lord said, “you’re saying this out of frustration and hurt because of a cycle or reoccurring problem of something undesired.” This is an inner vow or word of entrapment because you aren’t stopping the cycle but welcoming and continuing the cycle. Instead, you should say, “Lord, my life, my times are in your hands and I speak death to every cycle that is not a blessing in my life.” This will be the end of this curse and a new beginning.
Secondly, “Something is wrong with me”. He pointed out how this was an inner vow or word of entrapment. He said, “you are speaking this out of rejection from a person(s). You need to say, “I am wonderfully and fearfully made in the image and likeness of God. When he created me, he did it right. I am preserved, undamaged, intact, lacking nothing.”
Lastly, “I’m just anointed for mess, hurt, and abuse”. He pointed out, “this is not your portion, nor your daily benefits, or the more abundant life, I promised you.” What you should say, “I’m anointed to establish the Kingdom of God and his order. I’m anointed to be healed and bring healing to others. I’m anointed not to be abused but to bring healing to those abused, as well as the abuser.”
Then I began to repent and renounce the words of entrapment. Freedom came in and the snare was broken in these areas. Yahweh has not anointed you for mess, abuse, and hurt, but to be healed and bring healing, to be delivered from, and to conquer it. Death and Life are in the power of your tongue, speak death to the things of the enemy and life to the things of God Today!
Holy Spirit, show me any words of entrapment or inner vows that I have made, that I may repent, renounce, and thus destroy its altar in my life. Lord tear down every false altar in my heart til there’s only one altar in my heart reserved for You.
Speak words of FREEDOM, not words of entrapment…your life hinges on it.
When you know that God loves and accepts you, it is easy to have faith in him. Knowing your identity as God’s child and that he made you in his image, helps you to live an overcoming life. Nothing is too difficult because God fights for you. The bigger the problem, the bigger his provision, so you can rejoice no matter what comes at you.
When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us? God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm. If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you and keep you from stumbling. You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath your feet! (Psalm 91:9-13 TPT)
God has some SUDDENLIES coming from the HEAVENLIES to you!
I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass. (Isaiah 48:3 KJV)
When we meet big obstacles and problems, we cannot solve, we choose to either give up or let God fight our battles. Humbling ourselves, surrendering our independence, yielding our pride in doing things our way, we cry to God for his help. Trusting (having confidence) and dependence on God, knowing he loves, cares and fights for us. Our focus turns to praise and worship of God, not the circumstances. He works wonders on our behalf and saves us out of our troubles. Hallelujah!
Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me. (Psalm 138:7 NLT) I called on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies. (Psalm 18:3 NLT)
It doesn’t matter what your present circumstances are, your experiences of the past, what may or may not come in your future, or who is with you or against you. What matters most is where your HEART is towards GOD!
We are called to grow in our relationship with God, relying on his strength, not our flesh and know he is God and we are not. He is exalted and gets the glory. The challenges that we face, help us lean on God, and not our intellect or human understanding. His love enables us to rest and enjoy his peace, regardless of the storm. When we are weak, God is our strength.
Be still (be weak, let go, release) and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! (Psalm 46:10)
Never be friends with the “same,” be friends with “change.” When we are friends with the same, this is why some people fade away. Because they’re expecting you to be like you used to be but the glory changes you from glory to glory. Conclusively, don’t be friends with the monotonous but with those subject to change, with the GLORY IN YOUR LIFE. The GLORY demands for CHANGE. Those who can’t accept it are friends with the SAME…EMBRACE THE GLORY and the consequences that come along with it. Those who are friends with the CHANGE WILL REMAIN…Selah
