Pure Glory

Faith imitates God
Believes God and acts
Follows Jesus when he says, “Come”
Gets out of the boat and walks on water

Faith is not wishful thinking
Abraham believed God’s promise of a son when he was childless
Follows and trusts God into the unknown
Envisions the son and descendants as promises fulfilled

Faith is obedience to God’s instructions
Confident in God and his Word
Listens and follows Holy Spirit’s guidance
Shows simple childlike trust in God

Faith in God demonstrates
Christ in us the hope of glory
Prayers answered
Lives transformed

Faith’s confession matches God’s Word
Rests with confident trust
Decrees the Word of God
Praises and worships God
