Great Joy, Refreshing And Restoration!

by Hazel Straub

Does it seem that you have suffered one loss, after another? Have you thought that good things come to others but not to you? Battered from the harsh past winter? Ready for the new?

Change, yes, great change is here. The formerly bare tree limbs burst with fresh opened new green leaves and the air fragrant with the sweet aroma of blossoms. The endless winter has ended and spring has arrived. Promise of an abundant harvest fills the air, long before it becomes sight.

Yahweh speaks first in the natural, before the spiritual. (The spiritual does not come first, but the physical and then the spiritual. 2 Corinthians 15:46) When you feel exhausted, with few resources, take heart. We have entered a divinely appointed new season of a fresh start.  It is time for refreshing and restoration! Healing and great joy! Resurrection of faded dreams with fresh vision!

“Then I will repay you for the years
that the mature locusts, the adult locusts,
the grasshoppers, and the young locusts ate your crops.
(They are the large army that I sent against you.)
You will have plenty to eat, and you will be full.
You will praise the name of Yahweh your Elohim,
who has performed miracles for you.
My people will never be ashamed again.”
(Joel 2:25-26 MSG)

I agree, sometimes life seems like a series of one misstep after another. However, when we look back we can see God’s hand guiding our steps.

Yes, Hod leads and guides us throughout our life journey. We do have better vision looking backwards and seeing his guidance
