Soar In The Presence Of Almighty God

Resting underneath the shadow of the Almighty’s wings
Dwelling in the Most High, worshipping my heart sings
Drawing close to him, he is all I will ever need
Responding to his voice, his love most gratefully received

Leaving all my worries, stresses and cares with him
Trusting, knowing, he will handle every one of them
Coming close and learning what gives him delight
Enjoying his presence and love with all my might

He rescues me from danger, others’ anger and daggers
His strength causes me to rest, trust, not stress or stagger
He mounts me up on eagle’s wings and causes me to soar
Cause he’s my refuge, my dwelling and my protecting door

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, “You are my refuge and my fortress my God, in whom I trust. (Psalms 91:1-2 BSB)

    What a beautiful message of hope and of the amazing reminder that he is our refuge. I live in a western state and four times in the last 18 months. I’ve had an eagle fly over my car while my team was in it with me just last week we watched an eagle, the younger one soaring. We can soar as high as an eagle, but we must have the wind beneath our wings be our creator, God thank you for the post.
