Real love is an action not merely words. Jesus, our example, loved us so much he gave his life for us. He laid his right to live and paid the penalty for our mistakes and sins. We, like Jesus, are to love and help fellow Christians in need. It is a way of life, give what they need and sacrifice ourselves for others. A love lifestyle receives sacrificial love from Jesus and freely gives the same to others, showing love, mercy and grace. We receive God’s love to lavish it on others.
This is how we have discovered love’s reality: Jesus sacrificed his life for us. Because of this great love, we to lay down our lives for one another. If anyone sees a fellow believer in need and has the means to help him, yet shows no pity and closes his heart against him, how is it even possible that God’s love lives in him?
Beloved children, our love can’t be an abstract theory we only talk about, but a way of life demonstrated through our loving deeds. We know that the truth lives within us because we demonstrate love in action, which will reassure our hearts in his presence.(! John 3:17-19 TPT)

Indeed, real love indeed transcends mere words, it’s a profound action that echoes Christ’s sacrifice. His example teaches us to love sacrificially. This sacrificial love extends beyond words, flowing into our daily interactions, especially with fellow Christians in need. It’s a lifestyle that mirrors Christ’s love, where we give freely and sacrificially, mirroring the love, mercy, and grace we’ve received from Him.
