by Apostle Gabriel Cross
When God calls you to do something, he never calls you to be comfortable, but he calls you to a higher accountability. He never calls you out of where you are, but he calls you out of where you’re going. This is why he called Abram, Abraham (father of many) before he even had any.
When God calls you, you never have to sharpen your gift, just your character. When God calls you, it’s a personal clarion call to you, so what others say or do is irrelevant. The call of God will pull you through, let the call of God motivate you, grow in you, and develop you today!

God…”calls you out of where you’re going”—interesting concept—explain further, please?

Each one of us was created for a specific purpose. Abraham was living with his father and their extended family. He did not have plans to go elsewhere until he was told by God to leave his family and go to a place he would be shown, which was Canaan. God called him out of where he was and his plans to an entirely new direction. The same thing can happen to each one of us. We think our lives are going in a certain direction and God calls us into a new direction.
