Do you feel weak and helpless and that things are out of your control? Are you in the middle of a storm? “Do not fear for I am with you, do not be afraid, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, I will surely help you; I will uphold you, with my right hand of righteousness.” (Isaiah 41:10 BSB)
Jacob lost his favor with his Uncle Laban and God told him to return home to his father and close relations. He then fled at night, full of fear. His uncle pursued him, in anger. God told Jacob not to fear because his favor was with him. Laban, was told by God, not to say anything good or bad to Jacob. Laban, however, searched all of Jacob’s property looking for his household idols. He did not find them and then made a covenant with Jacob.
“Laban also said, “This pile of rocks means that the LORD will watch us both while we are apart from each other.” So the place was also named Mizpah. “ (Genesis 31:49 CEV)

“Do you feel weak and helpless and that things are out of your control? Are you in the middle of a storm?” For decades I would have said a resounding YES, but today, I see myself on the edge of the storm, not feeling weak or helpless and glad I’m not in control. Phooey on feeling defeated. I pray for those who do, like I just said, I’ve been there. And probably will be there again. But, not today. Holy Spirit comfort all Your down trodden sheep. We so need The Good Shepherd to guide us back home to Your Peace.

Hallelujah! You are on the edge of the storm. You are an overcomer through Jesus your Lord. God is in control and works on your behalf behind the scenes and grants you favor. It is the heart of The Good Shepherd to find the lost sheep. Amen
“So He told them this parable: “What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one which is lost, [searching] until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he gets home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, because I have found my lost sheep!’ I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.” (Luke 15:3-7 AMP)

God is so faithful and just. He never lets us down and always keeps his promises and covenant of mercy to those who love him. ❤️🙏🏾

Yes, God is faithful to those who are in faithful covenant with him based on Jesus, paying the death penalty for our sin. He is the same, today and forever. ❤️😍👣
1 John 2:1-6
“My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments. If anyone says, “I know Him,” but does not keep His commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone keeps His word, the love of God has been truly perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him: Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked.”
