Release Your Cares To God!

by Hazel Straub

God calls us to rest, releasing, abandoning our cares and control, to him. No stress, only rest. Settled quietly, in the tender care of the Lord. He works on our behalf.

Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail).(Psalm 55:22 AMPC)

    • Anita, ask the Holy Spirit to put this truth in your heart, as you meditate and think on this Scripture. It is out of the heart that our actions come. Repent or change your mind about doing it by yourself and put the blood of Jesus over yourself and your mind. Then ask Holy Spirit to lead you into this truth and take the action of letting go of your control and commit yourself verbally by saying, I choose the rest of the Lord. Teach me how to rest in you. I let go of my control and come to you Jesus, with no agenda but to rest.

When you practice what you read in the Scriptures and surrender to the Holy Spirit who leads you into all truth, you will learn to rest in the Lord Jesus.
