Discouraged and thinking about quitting? Do not quit! If you continue to persevere, your spiritual muscles get stronger and you win! Difficulties do not define you. Many times, when we feel exhausted and are ready to quit, victory is close. Look to Jesus for strength, and see yourself going over the finish line. You have come this far by faith and trusting in God to sustain you! Keep going! You are an overcomer!
My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. And then as your endurance grows even stronger, it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. (James 1:2-4 TPT)

When we stand back and look at the big picture we see our life is but for a moment, and any afflictions we endure are not as large as they may seem. A day to God is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is only one day to God. We truly can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us!
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 16-18).

Julia, it is true that our life is only for a moment. Christ strengthens us and cheers us to continue. When our focus is on him, we have a better perspective.
