All who are weary and heavy laden come to Me and REST. Cease from striving and trying to earn My favor. You have My favor. My son did the work on the cross. REST from being burden bearer and give your cares to Me, God. Rely on Me not yourself. Let Me be God and REST. Cease struggling instead snuggling, as you REST in Me.
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV)

I love cease struggling, instead snuggling. That’s such a great picture of leaning into God and letting Him take care of us.

Rest is the hallmark of faith. We live in a restless world. There is so much jostling and bustling here and there. Consciously or unconsciously, even believers are caught in the web. In the midst of a storm, Jesus could afford to sleep. When the disciples remembered to invite him to the situation, he calmed the storm. You see, if you can invite Jesus into the situation of your life, he will calm the storm of your life.
