What Is In The Heart Remains

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

If God hasn’t spoken to you, don’t make up anything. God wants our hearts not our words…

Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
(Matthew 15:7-9 KJV)

And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.” (Isaiah 29:12-14 KJV)

Some things are better caught (in the heart) and not taught (in the mind). When it’s in the head, it can be taken away, but when it’s in the heart, it remains.

  5. Amen! Thank you for such words of wisdom. As a Recovered (not recovering) addict, I learned from my heart that Jesus’ blood has made me a recovered addict rather than recovering. His blood on Calvary recovers us from all sin… and the other way to view recovery is utilizing your brain to fight addiction, when Christ already fought it for us and WON!!! Blessings and honor, Christine C Sponsler

  7. Amen! and Amen again. We need to know that we know that we know it is from God. That’s why discernment is so important. Great Post! Blessings and Peace.
