Trust In Jesus

by Hazel Straub

When we trust in Jesus (the Lord is salvation), we are firmly anchored, like a tent-peg going deep into the solid ground of the truth of his redeeming love, saving. delivering and healing us. This type of trust means “amen,” it is sure, solid and firm. With this trust, our lives are like a well secured tent. The winds of adversity will not blow it over.

We do not want it said of us, “because they believed not in God, and trusted (firm) not in his salvation (Jesus).”  (Psalm 78:22)

No matter what the circumstances that swirl around us, we can always put our trust in God and see him grow us through our challenges and become strong in him.

    • Yes, I have always found that to be true. One minute I’m stressing, then I remember the Lord is inviting us to come and sit at his feet. 😊

  5. Wonderful work. Remember that the work of the Lord is free for all who wish to hear it. Do not worry too much about copyright, I would say. Your ministry will grow. No doubt about that. In the end though, all works of love are in His name and according to His word. God bless you today.

    • That’s so true. As Christians, we can fall into the worldly trap of fussing over follows and likes and subscriptions. We need to stop comparing ourselves with others and just focus on what we believe he’s called us to do. So many times our egos get in the way, don’t they? 😊

      • It’s so lovely to be part of this community, where we belong to the ‘bigger’ church. None of us on here are bothered about what demoninations we belong to or other differences. We all love Christ and that’s all that matters. Thanks Gershom for that reminder. I used to sing that song often when I was little 😊.
