When we lose hope, we end up in despair and think that all is lost. However, if we put our hope and trust in Jesus and focus on him, hope will fill us to overflowing. He makes a way, for what we thought impossible. He turns our sorrow into dancing. He brings us from the winter of our souls, into his glorious light!
He is our bridge of hope, into our promises. Thank you Jesus, for giving us hope!
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. (Colossians 3:1-2 ESV)

Hope is so important for overcoming obstacles in our path.
It gives me great comfort in knowing that the source of our hope can be found in Jesus.

Amen! He truly is the source of our hope. I have been blessed to preach on those first several verses of Colossians. It speaks to me that we are to focus both our thoughts and emotions of Jesus. As we do, His Spirit guides us along in His love, which gives us hope.

Pastor Chuck, Jesus is truly our source of hope. Glad you could preach on the first couple verses in Colossians. There is nothing like making Jesus the focus of our lives. He changes our lives into our best.
