Our thought life determines our actions. What we spend time repeatedly thinking about, comes out of us. Resentment, offense and anger brings fights, bitterness and murder. Worry, fear, and negativity results in depression, defeat and insomnia.
Reading and thinking about Bible passages that talk about Jesus, our Redeemer, changes us. When we think on how he gave his life for us, that results in our salvation, deliverance, healing and peace that passes understanding, we enjoy life, including the challenges. His love and forgiveness changes us, on the inside. His care and concern gives us peace.
Thankful and giving praise to God, for Jesus, our Lord and Savior and his Holy Spirit that transforms us!
So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always. Follow the example of all that we have imparted to you and the God of peace will be with you in all things. (Philippians 4:8-9 TPT)

All glory to God! It is a wonderful verse. As a teen, I memorized it, to keep my thoughts on God. You are welcome!

Absolutely! I was listening to a YouTube video of Billy Graham this week. He said everyday he read five chapters of Psalms. What we ingest into our minds will find it’s way out.📖💞

So true! When we fill our mind with the truth of the Word of God and Jesus, we will not get off track.
