Love And Forgive As Christ

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

If we want to stop the killing in the world, we must stop the killing in the church, FIRST.

Stop killing each other and start forbearing, forgiving, and loving one another, as Christ loves us.

  3. Thank you for this. If I need a reminder to have a more gracious attitude towards people, I think of our Lord Jesus Christ, His Arms open wide on the cross, in all His suffering, full of love -how can I look at Him and not open my heart to those He died for? God bless you.

    • Yes, our Lord Jesus, even while giving his life on the cross was loving and forgiving us. His love is so full of love and forgiveness. “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Amazing love! The Lord bless and keep you!

  4. Amen! When I was a kid we opened class with a prayer and the pledge of allegiance. It seems like after they stopped that and nationalized the school system is when all killings started.

    • Yes! When you remove God from schools, it leaves a vacuum that the enemy of our souls fills. Praise God for his Son Jesus who is our example of love and forgiveness.

  5. There is no greater love than the love of Christ. If we were more like Christ, we would live in a better world.

  6. If we can all remember everyone is someone’s child we could at least be decent to each other.

    • Yes! We also need to remember how many times we have received love and forgiveness, when we did not deserve it and pass it on to others.

      • Indeed. We are here for such a short while, life could be less stressful for us all. Live and let live.

    • Yes, humbling ourselves, loving and forgiving each other. God must be first and as we receive we give–forgiveness.

  13. Good Morning, My name is William and it is nice to go to a blog and see scripture with a very nice picture attached.

I believe that the lack of love in the church is what is killing the church. I also like that you wrote submitted because your not my enemy the devil is.

It is written in Ephesians 6:12

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. AMP

    • William, thank you for visiting Pure Glory and commenting.

God calls all of us in the church to love each other, forgiving others, as Christ has forgiven us.

      Blessings in Christ!

      • You’re welcome! I just love your blog.

I love the encouraging and real messages that relate to what we’re going through and the fact that you back up what is said with scripture.

Sometimes we as Christian’s don’t want to forgive someone because we think they don’t deserve to be forgiven. Forgetting the fact that we did not and do not deserve to be forgiven. Just think how doomed we’d all be if we had to earn Christ’s forgiveness… We would all fail miserably. We need to remember that we forgive based on Christ’s unconditional and powerful love for us. We need to forgive freely because we were freely forgiven. While we were still sinners, he sent His only son to die on a cross for us, so that we can be with Him forever. That’s Love… But we can never comprehend that love…
