Rejoice In The Lord!

by Hazel Straub

We all face problems in life. Doubt, fear, worry, and negative emotions, act as fuel, to keep the challenges alive. Complaining, steals our ability to fight. However, when we turn our focus to God, with an attitude of praise, worship, and rejoicing, the issues will not consume and grip us.

View the negative circumstances, as an opportunity to overcome and become stronger. Worship God, in the midst of the storm. Don’t wait for Sunday but praise God immediately, focusing on him, not the problem. Obey his instructions and you will receive overflowing blessings. The opposition from your enemies will make you strong, in the Lord. It will encourage you, to see the enemies defeated. Remember, faith crushes fear!

Only do not rebel against the Lord, neither fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their defense and the shadow [of protection] is removed from over them, but the Lord is with us. Fear them not. (Numbers 14:9 AMPC)

  5. Indeed every obstacle that occurs on our life’s journey should be considered a challenge. With complete trust in God we seek and find solutions to our problems. Lots of food for thought this Sunday morning!

    • Peter, thank you for your comment. Our challenges cause us to lean and trust him. It is hard to go through life, relying on ourselves. God is our strength, in the middle of our struggles! Praise God!

  8. Hazel, the image is just breath taking! Your point on not waiting til Sunday…yeah! Why do so many feel like that is the only time God listens, when we have open access to the very Throne room 24/7?

    • Stu, I am so glad God is available 24/7. I don’t want to wait until Sunday! The waterfall is Multnomah Falls in Oregon. 😋
