Surrender Your Anxiety And Rest In God!

by Hazel Straub

Be still, surrender, let go, die to your desires of the flesh, and know that I am Lord. Rest and relax in me. I care for you. I desire your good and will not harm you. I am here for you. Keep your focus on me, the author and finisher of your faith.

Today is a new day. Listen to me and do not lean on your own understanding. Cease from your striving. Know my love and rest.

Surrender your anxiety!
Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God.
I am the God above all the nations,
and I will be exalted throughout the whole earth.

Here he stands!
The Commander!
The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side!
The God of Jacob fights for us!

Pause in his presence
(Psalm 46:10-11 TPT)

    • Yes! The Bible scriptures all support one another. This passage that many translations say “be stil” means to relax and rest and quit striving so God can do it!

      • I keep my focus on Jesus, who paid for my sins and is my help and refuge. Rather than looking at the circumstances, I praise Jesus for his love for me. I trust in him and am thankful. When I focus on Jesus, his peace floods my soul. I cast my cares on God in prayer through Jesus and let the anxious thoughts go. Thankfully praising him for what he is doing for me. His peace guards my heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

      • God our Father in Heaven, sent his one and only Son to earth to live a life that had no sin or doing wrong. This was Jesus, who though tempted like us, did not sin. He showed the light, love and life to all. He went everywhere doing good, healing the sick, healing the lame, making the blind see, the deaf hearing. He also raised the dead. He was full of love, wisdom and kindness. Early, while it was dark, he would pray and commune with Father God. He taught the people to love their enemies, to forgive those that offended, to depend on God for help and strength. Jesus demonstrated the love of Father God. He loved children, was kind to those who were sinners and struggled. His love changed the lives of those who knew him. He brought light and joy to those who were in darkness and despair. He encouraged those who were depressed and hopeless. Blessings!
