Our Thoughts Determine Our Life

by Hazel Straub

Our thought life is important. What we think and meditate upon comes out of our mouth and manifests in our actions. There is a war in our mind, over what we believe. The devil wants us to see the problem, instead of God, our Problem Solver.

If we fix our eyes on Jesus the Anointed One, we will marvel at what God has done and is doing. God wants us to meditate on his Word. He desires that we know that greater is the Spirit of Jesus inside of us, than the enemy in the world.

Worry and anxiety are the first stage of doubt that leads to fear and unbelief. Worry cancels faith. Renew your mind, by thinking and speaking the Word of God. God makes a way, when it seems impossible. With God, you can resist the enemy and he will flee. Miracles of provision come, when you change your vision, to the Lord Jesus.

So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always. (Philippians 4:8 TPT)

  8. Now I understand why God/Yah would tell me (quite strongly) not to think about some things. I stopped as I didn’t want to disobey Him, and knew He would tell me that for a very good reason. After I stopped and started doing my best to focus on Yah and His Word, and doing praying, I noticed a change in my attitude, and such – a good change.
    Thanks!

    • Rachael, there is no one better to think about and place your thoughts on than the goodness of Yah. Jesus said if you saw him, you had seen the Father. (John 14:9) His word brings health and abundant life! Hallelujah!

  9. Amen! Take every thought captive. Trust in the truth of your identity and the promises of God and then act as if you BELIEVE it!
