Impossible? Not For God!

by Hazel Straub

Does your situation seem impossible? Retreat is not possible due to the enemy pursuing you and the obstacle in front of you looks impossible. Glory to God! What is impossible for man is easy for God. Total dependency on God brings breakthrough.

Often we cry out to God, when things go bad for us but depend on ourselves when things go well. The children of Israel had Pharoah and his army pursuing them and the Red Sea in front of them. Impossible? God had a plan and they went over on dry ground and then saw their enemy destroyed. God is the same today as yesterday and does not change. Look for a miraculous breakthrough, over the things that have defeated you in the past. Know that God delights in last-minute deliverance, from your enemy!

Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” (Matthew 19:26 NLT)

  3. Thank you for this reminder. It is true with surrender to God and His ways we gain victory in this life! Our circumstances may not change, but our ability to endure, to thrive, to get strength and joy does. Our breakthrough is at the hands of God, not ours.

    • When we cooperate with God, believe him and have faith in God, we will see God bring breakthrough. His mercies are new every morning and great is his faithfulness to us.

  4. Verily I say this generation shall not pass away till all these things be revealed. Heaven and Earth shall fade away, but the words of Jesus Christ our Lord shall never pass. For with man this is impossible, but with GOD; all things are possible. I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who empowers and strengthens me in my weakness. ALLELUYAH to the KING.

  6. I confess that I too often wait until it seems I cannot handle things on my own before crying out to God. When I am more aware of the Almighty’s presence, I pray as Jeremiah did: “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you created the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” (Jeremiah 32:17 NIV)

Thank you Hazel and continued blessings on your ministry,
    Chuck

    • Chuck, your comment is appreciated. God uses every circumstance to draw us closer to him. He wants us to have our hearts close to him, so he is our first and last thought, sustainer, provision and Father God. Nothing is too hard for him. You are welcome and I receive your blessings. Abundant blessings to you,
      Hazel
