Thankful only when your circumstances look good? No matter what might happen, God is still with you, watching over you with tender love and care. When we express gratitude and thankfulness to God, we change. Complaining brings negativity and causes us to stay in a pit. Thankfulness directed to God, causes us to triumph, overcoming the circumstances.
Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will]. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 AMPC)
