God’s Mercy And Grace

by Hazel Straub

God loves us so much he gave his one and only Son, Jesus, to pay the price for our sins. Through Jesus, we receive mercy and grace from God. We cannot earn it, but it is a free gift. We cry, “Help!” and God answers our cry with help. Awesome!

Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it]. (Hebrews 4:16 AMPC)

    • It is truly amazing how God loves us through demonstration. Jesus doesn’t look at our flaws but changes our identity with the help of Holy Spirit who lives inside of us. We die to our flesh and live to him. Really amazing!

  4. Sometimes I feel His grace will not be sufficient in my life anymore.. Cos am still battling with some difficult strife in my life. Today I will ask for his mercies, then before the end of the week, am back to it again.. But ain’t giving up till I fight this battle and won’t allow the devil to put the spirit of condemnation in me.. Instead will keep running to God and His throne of Grace. Thanks for this piece, it’s a reminder that in all.. God loves me

    • God fights air battles. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness. He gives us mercy and grace. He calls us up to learn we are a new person. His grace is sufficient for us. He helps us in our weakness! He gives us a new identity and new clothes in Christ. His throne of grace and mercy gives all we need for today. Abundant blessings!

      • You are welcome! God is for us and helps us overcome through the blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony, and loved not their lives even to death. Jesus lives in us and gives us a new identity and mercy and grace.

  6. Thank you for this message. Truly I was called to be strengthened in a storm of a moment of life happening. Immediately to prayer I was strengthened and balanced in faith of knowing Jesus administering grace and the sky cleared and my heart remained calm and there was no storm…simply an event that offered me ability to walk on the water …with Jesus…
Namaste and may God Bless You this day and always

  7. God’s recipe for forgiveness and salvation is quite simple. Why then is it so hard for people to believe? Wonderful Post!
