Facing incredible odds that seem insurmountable? Ancient Judah King Asa had a similar situation. The enemy that greatly out numbered their troops invaded the land. King Asa went to prayer crying for God’s intervention. God heard the prayer and gave supernatural victory to Judah. God is no respecter of people and what he does for one, he will do for another. (Acts 10:34) When we cry out in prayer, he hears and answers those who trust in the Lord.
Then Asa cried out to the LORD his God, “O LORD, no one but you can help the powerless against the mighty! Help us, O LORD our God, for we trust in you alone. It is in your name that we have come against this vast horde. O LORD, you are our God; do not let mere men prevail against you!” (2 Chronicles 14:11)
