Wisdom is highly prized in the Bible and we are told to ask God for it. Wisdom is the right application of knowledge. It helps us make good decisions, to prosper and succeed in our lives. Prayer is often the vehicle God uses to give us wisdom. It is essential in our lives.
But the wisdom from above is always pure, filled with peace, considerate and teachable.It is filled with love and never displays prejudice or hypocrisy in any form and it always bears the beautiful harvest of righteousness! Good seeds of wisdom’s fruit will be planted with peaceful acts by those who cherish making peace. (James 3:17-18 TPT)

What the world needs is not more and more knowledge, but wisdom to deal with the knowledge we have more wisely. The Latin Bible (Vulgate) calls God’s wisdom sapientia, a special term for the coming together of wisdom and knowledge.

Yes, Peter we really need God’s wisdom to deal with our day. Sometimes we get fat on knowledge but have no wisdom. Thank you for your thought provoking comment.
