Have you reacted to life disappointments with complaining? When we are unhappy and throw a self-pity party, fuel is given to the enemy of our soul. We get discouraged and either quit or run from what appears as an unbeatable giant. God has promised that he will not give us more than we can handle. We often get tests, so we can overcome the challenge, relying in faith on the Lord God.
The ancient Hebrews were miraculously delivered from slavery in Egypt. When ten of the spies brought back a report of giants, in the land of promise, the people responded with complaining and despair. Only two spies believed that God would give them their land, despite how things appeared. Complaining caused them to lose their blessing of something bigger. They ended up dying in the wilderness.
What will you choose today? Complaining or rejoicing in the Lord? Worshiping God and seeing victory or pouting? Going in pride and independence or faith in God giving you victory?
Do everything without grumbling or arguing, (Philippians 2:14 NET)

Plain and simple. Complainers rob themselves and all who listen of joy and peace. Anyone who claims to be a Christian, and regularly complains needs to examine themselves.

Very true! Complainers are like a dripping faucet. They are full of doubt and unbelief.

We are at times like the ancient Israelites grumbling and complaining when the going gets tough. We need to realize that every challenging situation in our lives has a purpose intended to test our faith in God, who always helps us to overcome.

Agreed victory is obtained through praising the Lord.
Not sure about the thought He promises to never give us more than we can handle- I don’t think that’s biblical.
I believe He does give us more than we can handle to drive us to reliance on Him.

1 Corinthians 1013 TPT says: “We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously.” God does test us but never more than we can endure.

Praise God in ALL things. It’s easy to do when things go our way. The true test is if we rejoice when things don’t. Its like 1 +1 =2, rejoice in triumph + rejoice in struggles = faith in God

I complain like a son of a gun even though I know I’m going to overcome. Must be in my blood.

I speak a blood transfusion of the blood of the Lamb into your veins. All believers in Jesus are new creations. The old is passed away and all is new. Overcomer by the blood of the Lamb.
