The most effective weapon for spiritual warfare is love. When we love and do not retaliate, the enemy of our souls, leaves in defeat. He works through fear and does not understand love. The Spirit of God resides inside of us and he is love. When we purposely show his love to others, even though they may not deserve it, the atmosphere changes. God loves and forgives us, so we can overcome by loving others, no matter how they behave. Powerful warfare!
Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4:8 NLT)
