Season Of Silence

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

This is a season of Silence. This is a season of silence, while I, Jehovah, speak for you. You don’t have to explain anything about the past because my Blood speaks for you. For some battles ahead, you will not have to say anything because I, Jehovah, will speak on your behalf concerning your enemies.

You are now seated at my banquet table in the presence of your enemies, and all I want you to do is feast on the presence of my Love, while I, Jehovah Nissi, fight on your behalf. This is a season of quiet inner strength and effortlessness. I am taking you to the realm of effortlessness, requiring little or no effort, at all.

In this season, you will be graced to do things differently, instead of exhorting, correcting, and speaking out about some things. In this season, they will be won, by the character of my love, in you. Demons will recognize you because of your authority in silent prayer and inner trust in me. No longer independent but inner dependent on Me, says, The Lord.

“For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be DELIVERED; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength…”(Isaiah 30:15)

Great deliverance shall be your portion, in this season of silence. For you are a silent storm, in the hand of The Lord against your enemies. For the Lord, will send a mighty army against it. Like a mighty hailstorm and a torrential rain, they will burst upon it, like a surging flood and smash it to the ground. The proud city of Samaria— the glorious crown of the drunks of Israel — will be trampled beneath its enemies’ feet. It sits at the head of a fertile valley, but its glorious beauty will fade like a flower. Whoever sees it will snatch it up, as an early fig is quickly picked and eaten. Then at last the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will himself be Alaska’s glorious crown. In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a crown of glory, (this is Alaska, the Crown of Glory) and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, He will be the pride and joy of the remnant of his people. He will give a longing for justice to their judges. He will give great courage to their warriors who stand at the gates. (Isaiah 28:2-6)

This is the season of silence, a quiet but TRUE CONFIDENCE FROM Yahweh, not that it is limited or unlimited to the decimals of your voice but the love of Yahweh in your heart.

How amazing that you posted this word this morning. I realize the latter portion especially is for Alaska, but the first half is something I receive as a rhema word from the Lord to me personally. Unknown to you, of course, I had suffered some horrible kind of flu last week and was well on the mend. Then I got back to work, which is primarily teaching — so talking around the clock — and strained my throat so much that it got very sore again, the coughing increased considerably, and left me with only half a voice. I’m still believing God for all of my strength back as well. It has been a real battle.

Just a few hours ago, the Lord told me that I need to go the next 48 hours without talking at all and just rest as much as possible. It means missing one more day of work, and putting off some other things as well. But I had just made the decision to do that (and was wrestling with some of the battles against my faith that are involved) when I sat down and connected to the Internet. As I looked through my recent e-mail, the notice of this post came up. I almost laughed out loud when I saw the title — except that I’m trying not to do anything out loud. Anyway, I RECEIVE this word and the healing and strength that come with it, and I thank you for your faithfulness in posting it at the exact time you did.

The Lord is our Shepherd and provides, so we have no lack. He anticipates what we need and answers before we call. He has seen your need, Sister Sandra, and answered. Quietness and resting in Jehovah Nissi, your banner. Amazing love, nuture and strength sifted through his hands of love, with a special timely post, just for you! He is awesome and in grateful silence, I marvel at his attention to details and give him my worship. Your sharing the impact of this post is most welcome and appreciated.
