Real Christians GROW UP, but carnal Christians remain children. Playing emotional games and tricks are for kids, but discernment of good and evil are for the spiritually mature (Hebrews 5:14). The apostle Paul said, “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. “(1 Corinthians 13:11)
GROWTH says, “Correction is not rejection but promotion when applied. So correct me in love that I may grow properly because I want to be like JESUS.”
CARNALITY says, “You corrected me so you’re rejecting me. Don’t correct me and I’ll be just fine because this is the way I’ve been all my life and I’m going to remain me.” Sometimes the very thing we REJECT is what we should REFLECT. Let us not run from our development but rather embrace our process of growth TODAY! (Hebrews 12:10, 11)
