Many do not enjoy living life and merely exist as a survivor, due to living in the past. They have regrets and rehearse all the negative things that happened to them. God is calling us to forgive those who have offended us and move into the present. No longer looking back but pressing into the future and the destiny created for you by God through Christ Jesus. Let go of the past so there will be room in your life for your present and future.
But one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind (Phil. 3:13-15).

Amen! We do not have to live in the past. We do not have to allow our past to determine our future because as believers we are all new creations. God choose all sorts of people with complicated pasts to fulfill His purposes. Moses was a murderer and David was an adulterer and had someone killed, yet God did extraordinary things through them. If He can do it for Moses and David, He can do it through us. Blessings!

Moment by moment . . . it is all we have. When our ‘moment’ is surrendered to Him, it can count for all eternity.
