When it is dark and you cannot see your way, stop, trust and fully rely on me, your God. I am training you for reigning. In the difficult hard places, put your faith and trust in me. I am working and causing purification of your heart. Deliverance from pride, selfishness, self-righteousness, entitlement, self-reliance and independence, occurs during difficult circumstances.
Complaining and enjoying a pity party, only delays this process. Do not resist, as it this is a time of developing your character. It is your attitude not your circumstances that matter. When this wilderness time is complete, your trust, steadfastness, and reliance on me, will have deep roots that cannot be shaken. My plans for your are good and not evil. This season opens a door of hope, into more good things than you can imagine. Rest in me and enjoy the journey, with joyful confidence. For I am with you, says the Lord your Shepherd.
