I always try hard to remember that Satan was defeated the day Jesus willingly went to the cross…and when Jesus rose again, their were shouts and music heard throughout heaven! And throughout the wicked spiritual realms, their was great anguish and groaning! Praise the Lord for performing for us the ultimate act of love anyone could possibly give..not only to lay down His life willingly, but to go through great tornment and suffering in the process, and to die one of the most horrible, tormenting deaths one could die. I had read in my Archaelogical study Bible that death by crucifixion was the worst, and people would beg to be thrown into a pit of lions and be eaten alive or to be beheaded before having to be hung on the cross. What a powerful statement in so few of words! God bless you!
