Pure Glory

God wants us to let Him do his job. Sometimes what we think is his will, is not his will, it’s ours. God wants to bless us in his timing. When what we want, or what we desire doesn’t come fast enough, we start to do things on our own. We began to take on tasks that God didn’t even tell us to do. It looks like the Christian thing to do, but it’s not God’s thing to do. God wants us to trust him, not our deceitful impulses. When we begin to do a task and it seems something is not right, ask the Lord, “Did you tell me to do this or did I do this on my own?”
