What are we willing to do, to spend time with the ones we love (or the ones we are learning to love)? We have one life to live. Some might say, “Well I don’t want be bothered, leave me alone.” This person has the wrong attitude. In relationship, some have a tendency to always receive and not give. They enjoy people calling them, coming to their home and buying them things. But, what about the reverse? Are we doing what it takes to give (as God may lead)? To phone someone and say, “Have a blessed day?” Or to go to someone’s house and keep them company? Or to bless someone with a gift to show appreciation? We don’t always have to spend money, on a gift to show love, we can make it or write a song. Be creative! To those who have sucked up all the love and not dished it out, its time to love in action. It’s so easy to say, “I love you.” But, show it! What we do unto the Lord, will last. Whether it’s in deed or character. Love in action. Consider the ones we love. Consider the ones we don’t love. Ask God to give us the grace, to love them, with his love, as a blessing to both. Eventually the haters will change and learn LOVE. God is Love.
