It is hardest to rely on God, when things do not go the way that you expect. He is working his eternal values in you, not the temporal. The Lord is teaching you to look solely to him as your source, not on what you can do, earn or know. Praise God for the times, when nothing happens, as you anticipated and the road seems rough and hard. God is using these things to shape you, into becoming more like Christ. Be thankful and praise him!
