Rest In The Restorer

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

There is a “rest” in the word “restore” for you. It is not your responsiblity to restore you, it’s the Lord our Restorer’s job. Rest in his restoration.

“He causes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters/quiet streams. He restores your soul, (failing health, mind, will, emotions) he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”
( Psalm 23:2-3)

“For I will restore health to you,  and I will heal you of your wounds, declares the LORD; because they called you an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.” (Jeremiah 30:17)

A great deal of healing happens to our bodies when we rest. While it is important to “do” the works, it must come from the position of rest. We labor to enter His rest, The inner rest of faith; he is the God who makes all things possible! Father grace us to rest in You. Shalom…
